Dr. Alyssa Griffin-Jones is a licensed Master Esthetician, esthetic instructor, Certified Bio-Energy Therapist and Certified Organic Body and Skin Care Therapists with more than 30 years of experience in the aesthetic and wellness field. She is a local and national certified health professional, holds several degrees and certifications in natural health including a doctorate in naturopathic and organic medicine and a doctorate in Organic Skin Care Therapies. She is an advanced educator in the esthetic industry, and leading authority in esthetic sciences.

Dr. Griffin-Jones is known for her expertise in total body detoxification and wellness, holistic and organic skin sciences, naturopathic dermal care and integrative aesthetics. Her 30 plus years of experience in the aesthetic and natural health industry positions her as a visionary, strategist and a leading authority in the profession of organic medicine. Her distinctive vision in the care of problematic skin more specifically in African American skin conditions for came to fruition through combining her research & practicum in naturopathy and dermatological skin sciences – establishing her practice LeLayah Health and Wellness Holistic Body and Skin Care Clinic.

As founder of LeLayah Health and Wellness Holistic Body and Skin Care Clinic, and LeLayah Cosmetics, formally known as “Grandma’s Secretes,” and experience in developing FDA Certified and approved organic cosmetics and skin care products, innovative techniques in holistic approaches to natural exfoliation of African-American skin, and, safe and natural detox methods to aid the body and skin of harmful toxins impacting its overall health, Dr. Griffin-Jones has won numerous awards too extensive to list in this bio.​

​Raised in Beaufort, S.C., Griffin-Jones watched her grandmother mix plants and herbs in her kitchen to heal skin, hair, and body aliments for her neighbors and family. In 1989 after years of compiling a book of these same recipes of her grandmother’s secret concoctions, Dr. Griffin-Jones created the cosmetic line formally known as “Grandma’s Secrete.”  In September 2014, she teamed up with a staff of holistic chemists and renamed the product line “LeLayah Cosmetics” after a family nickname given to her deceased daughter, Layah as a way of honoring her memory.

Dr. Griffin-Jones is a Georgia state licensed esthetician & aesthetic instructor, Certified Oncology Esthetician, Certified Organic Weight Loss Therapist, Certified Reflexologist, and a Certified Dermal Organic educator & lecturer. She currently practices in Fayetteville, Georgia where she resides with her husband Gene.
